Saulius Buivys

I hold positions of researcher lecturer at Rotterdam Business School (RBS), Netherlands and visiting lecturer at NEOMA Business School, Rouen, France. I am teaching the subject of Managing Corporate Sustainability at the Graduate department of RBS and investigating Corporate Social Responsibility in SMEs working for my PhD at Nyenrode Business University, Netherlands.

I hold an MSc in Economics from A. Stulginsikis University in Lithuania and followed postgraduate studies in European Affairs at the University of Southern Denmark.

My work for the education sector has included lecturing at A. Stulginskis University in Lithuania and University College, London. Since February 2007 I have been working in various education and co-ordination positions at RBS. Currently I am also responsible for development and execution of innovative educational products at RBS: online, tailor-made and international programmes. I am co-author of several research articles. In 2013-2014 I initiated and led the international research-education project ‘The role of responsible business practice in enhancing the international competitiveness of SMEs (REBUSME) with the participation of three partner universities.

My work in the public sector comprised three main activities: public service (Lithuanian Embassy in London), project management (international projects of the Lithuanian Ministry of Agriculture) and research {inter-institutional research groups for Lithuania’s preparation prior to joining the World Trade Organisation (WTO) and the EU}.

I hold positions at several consulting companies in Lithuania and UK and am the founder of Baltics Consultancy in the Netherlands.
